Transit Tour Philippines

The Transit Tour Philippines is a pioneering tourism mobility and experience program of the Department of Tourism, proudly conceptualized and developed by Positive Exposure Productions, Inc. under the policy direction and supervision of the Department. Designed following comprehensive benchmarking, inter-agency collaboration, and end-to-end implementation planning, the initiative was created to maximize the tourism potential of transit passengers with layovers in Manila. The program offers specially curated sightseeing tours that enable travelers to explore key entertainment, cultural, and historical landmarks within Metro Manila during their waiting time between connecting flights. Featured destinations include heritage and tourism sites such as Intramuros, Rizal Park, and the National Museum Complex, among other strategically selected attractions that provide visitors with meaningful and time-efficient exposure to Philippine culture and urban experiences. Beyond enhancing the overall travel journey, the Transit Tour Philippines supports broader tourism development objectives by activating a previously untapped visitor segment. By encouraging transit passengers to participate in guided city tours, the initiative contributes to increased tourism-related spending, strengthened destination visibility, and the recognition of participating transit travelers as tourism arrivals. The project demonstrates strong capabilities in tourism product innovation, inter-agency coordination, mobility planning, and operational execution, positioning Positive Exposure as a key proponent of integrated tourism solutions that optimize connectivity, convenience, and destination competitiveness
